A week ago I went into the hospital for contractions. They found out I was also dehydrated. After an iv they sent me home. I still get the contractions and feel pressure pushing down on me. I wasn't dilated, so that was good. They told me to drink lots of water, but not much more advice.

I'm 25 weeks and am worried about delivering early. My older two boys were a month early and youngest almost as well. I did get contractions with them early too, but not this early.

Is there anything you can tell me to try and do to help?

I'm surprised they didn't recommend bed rest. Try to rest as much as possible, I know it's hard with other kids, but you need to take it easy. Maybe see if friends can alternate baby sitting some, or helping with housework, or meals. How old are your other kids? Can they help out? Make sure to keep hydrated and eat small amounts often. The best thing you can do though is stay off your feet.

Yeah, bedrest! Or at least stay off your feet as much as you can!
Thanks for this!

Definitely keep in close contact with your doctor. I have a niece that was born at 26 weeks and that is scary!
Thanks for this!
