My 17-year-old son and his girlfriend stole her parents' car yesterday morning and took off together. We can't find them. Both their phones were turned off at noon yesterday. I feel like I'm losing it. Never been so terrified in my life. The police are looking for them too. If the police find them, they're going to be arrested for felony car theft. I don't care about that. I just want to know that he is safe.

It scares me that his girlfriend is very depressed and possibly suicidal. I don't know what will happen. :-(

Hugs from me too. When my son went missing for a few weeks I was terrified myself. I'll be hoping that everything turns out well and that they are safe. Try not to think the worst, I know easier said than done.

Gosh I sure hope you get some news soon! I bet they have just taken off to spend New Years Eve on an adventure, not even realizing how worried everyone will be. I guess text messages don't go through when a cell phone is off?? I might send one saying that they won't be in trouble (too much anyway) if they contact someone immediately. They have to turn the phone on eventually. Big hug!!

What state are you in?
Facebook has a community page called missing in massachusetts. that is where my i listed my daughter on 12/23 before it went on the national site. I know the pain you feel becasuase i am living it too. Quote:

Thank you! This has been the worst week of my life. I was finally able to talk to him on Thursday. All he'd say is that they're "somewhere" in Texas and don't know when they're coming back. I'm so glad they're alive at least, but it really worries me that they don't know when they're coming back. :-(
