My daughter is in therapy now since the con experience. She's saying things like she hates love songs all they do is write a love song than a break up song. And why do I like so many love songs? She's says she's Bisexual, but doesn't want to have sex ever.

I try to talk to talk her through what I can but I'm concerned. I know this is from the damage he has caused. It has warped her views on life. I don't know if it is fixable. I had virtually no health problems. Now I'm always unwell.

I just tried to lightly talk about some of it. I said if I made a million dollars writing a love song I'd keep writing them. Told her relationships are hard. Life isnt always rainbows and butterflies but the tough stuff makes us stronger. I told her everyone has hard stuff to go through. Many relate to the songs. Than I said some lives are tragic mine is more difficult than most, most people face hardships. Tragedy may come and you just have to work through it.

So do you think your DD is depressed? I'm not sure of the back story here to really give any useful advice, but I am getting to know female pre teen hormones w/ my own DD.
She's attached to the computer, her peer group & has tunnel vision right now on life.

Is she just complaining about music in general?
I'm sorry but I'm not sure I understand it all & I saw no one replied to ur post so I wanted to ask for more info. Maybe that'll help people respond more.
Thanks
