A fear that your parent might abandon you if he or she got mad about something, even if it was small or had nothing to do with you? Like throw you out of the house or just walk out of the house him or herself - and not come back?

Yes. But I was adopted at 5.5 years old. I felt that my birth mother had abandoned me. I had memories of her and my biological siblings.

Yes I always feared that somehow one day, I’d come home from school & our house was gone & my family was living in a large barn on our property eating cat food. And there was no place for me there.
I think it stemmed from my parents constant arguing about money & the lack there of.
