hai. i shouldnt really post here methinks but i just wanted to send kudos to all the parents.
i was reading some post on another site, and it was about some silly girl moaning about how her mother was great, but really 'ugly'.
i couldnt believe that my generation were so shallow and superficial.
so i thought id send a post, saying that i want to thank all the parents here for doing what they do.

i know personally, that mothers and fathers go through alot of stress, and anxiety, making sure their children grow up to be well rounded, healthy people. and i know it takes a large proportion of their lives to make this so.

i also wanna stick a note in here saying i wanna thank my mom and dad for wasting their time raising me :P

i have hella lot of respect for the PC parents, because not only do they spend alot of their time with the selfless task of raising kids, but they do it while battling problems of their own.
what annoys me the most is the fact that the kids dont seem to even gauge how much time and effort is spent on them until they become parents themselves, so until the kids have kids of their own, their parents arent appreciated.
i know not everyone has had lovely parents. or childhoods, and im sorry if i triggered anyone. but i wanted to make a post sending my gratitude to the parents of PC. who DO spend their time trying to look after their kids well.
also my parents, who i love,
and my E.parents, who i also love :P
dude a police car went by my house thats weird for here...

anyways.
im just telling yall i loves yah.
because i do.
and i respect how much effort you put in to looking after us kiddlies.
take care you guys.

sorry, but i feel obliged to LOL at this.
one stupid comment
and you think everyones like this?
okay, i dont mean to be rude, but
"i know personally, that mothers and fathers go through alot of stress, and anxiety, making sure their children grow up to be well rounded, healthy people"
and to say "my generation" like your speaking for the whole of us..

well i've actually had to do some of the things my parents should be doing for me - mop up the tears, standing up for them when theres a threat, advising them, telling them when to stop and holding their sham of a marriage together for their and the sakes of my brother and sister.
you say they only have to put up with us and i mean, thats great
but what about us who have to put up with them
so many times ive just wanted to walk out, just not have to care,
which kinda shows your whole "oh no kids EVER care for what their parents do". i for one have always shown my apprecaition, as have, well, pretty much everyone my age i know, to my knowledge.
so please, before you start saying this whole generation is completely superficial,
have a thought to those who arent.

yeah. sorry banana. what i was referring to were the PC people who were parents. im not saying everyone is unnapreciative of their parents. this was why i was worrying about this post because i know there are alot of kids who are put in the adult situation.
i understand that by saying 'our generation' i was overgeneralising. i shouldnt have really done it but yeeah sorry.

I think what Selfy was trying to say comes across loud and clear to some that may need to hear it. I do not think she was trying to say that this is for the whole generation..... Everyone has their own situation but Selfy had a need to express something and she did it very well. Her parents should be proud of her. I have spent time talking to Selfy and am glad to have met her.

I would like to add to that having all of us here helps us. Weather we are parents or children. I have an appreciation for the concern that we show for each other. We are all helping each other grow.

well i am a parent
i understand what your all saying selfy hit it on the nail as most ppl here on pc have some issues of there own or are helping others deal with issues

also what bannas says about shes doing some of the things that her parents should be doing

i know it can be hard being a parent and being a only girl in a family with no mother as i had to do a lot of the stuff my mother would of done in the lines of cleaning and preparing meal

(((((((((((((all)))))))))))))))))
