Hi Downdude,
I just wanted to sympathize with you. It sounds like things are really tough right now. I don't have anything to offer in the way of advice I just wanted to let you know that I read your post and I care about what you are going through. When I couldn't afford my meds and psych care i went through the county and they helped tremendously. Is there anyway you can find a ride to the nearest place? I know for me too that my mental health is of utmost importance, more important than paying certain bills because without my mental health I am unemployable. Keep reaching out here, you've taken a great first step. Love and Hugs, Tara |

Welcome...glad you found us at least... Are there any free mental health clinics or clinics that base the care on your earnings?. If so you may be able to contact them and see if there is anyone in a support group there that is in your neck of the woods. They would have to take your ph# and then someone call! That may be an answer. Also are there churches in the area or one you attend that could help with transportation once you found a clinic
I see of course you have the internet. Its a great research tool for searching places and things and social service agencies in your area. There might be Catholic charities or mental health support groups. Contact them. There is one big advocacy group that might help the national association on mental health NAMI...They are a great group and may be able to put you in touch with exactly waht you may need.!!!! Good luck.. You must be very skilled to know how to work with electrical things!
Is it possible to move someplace where there might be more work opportunities and more mental health services available? |
