Any therapists in Massachusetts who take credit cards?

Do you know of any therapists in Massachusetts who take credit cards and that might be accepting new patients?

Maybe Goggle in your area and most post there basic info like hours a brief list of what type of therapy offered and payment options.Or there is always the Non tech way and just call up T's and find out how they manage there practice .

I think doctors do/will, psychiatrists, but therapists mostly just do checks. I'd see if your credit card has checks you can write on it? Just do it that way.

Thanks Perna. I don't think any of my credit cards offered me checks lately, but I will double check anyway. This is a good idea.

Which search terms would you use? I tried "counseling visa" and got a whole bunch of debt counseling agencies instead. I figure that since this is your suggestion, you might have already had success using different search criteria.

I goggled Therapist in X city or county. Then sifted through them based on what type of Therapy they offer if available ( most have basic info available online, some offer lots of info such as payment options)

Then I just made phone calls asking who takes what checks? cash? credit? debit? how long of a wait for a new patient appointment? Do they offer email or text between visits (if you were to need that service) I have read here on PC that more and more T's are giving like a 15-20 minute free visit to see if what you need is something that they can help you with, and if not they often point you in the right direction to a T that may be a better fit.

I just did a quick search for Boston and 8+ pages came up showing there pics and short bios, I tried posting a link but wasn't working so "psychology today" and just search for Boston. This should be very helpful for you, its quick and easy.

Do you live near the NH border? I know of a couple in NH. One is Nashua one in Derry that both accept cards. PM me if you are interested in the names.

This is exactly the kind of reply that I was hoping for the most. Unfortunately I live in Boston and am stuck with public transportation for now (buses and subways). Thank you very much for offering names.
