Hello, my current health insurance does not pay for my ADHD medication because they believe people 18 and over do not have it. Can anyone tell me health insurance that DOES pay for it? I am basically dependent on these drugs to run my life.

You have to go by plans, but as far as companies go... I have had United Healthcare and Blue Cross Blue Shield plans in the past that paid for my Adderall. They did require doctor approval/verification (I think), but I only had to pay a copay after my deductible.

Usually most insurance companies will pay for the meds if the Pdoc fills out paperwork for you. You don't mention what insurance you currently have. Care to share?
