Has anyone gone through an insurance appeal and been successful? I'm considering trying for a treatment that isn't covered by my insurance but it's expensive so I really would need for them to make an exception and cover it in order to try it.
I know my doctor is willing to do the paperwork to see if we can get it covered, I'm just not sure how successful these kind of things are.

Hello (((Apathy123))) Have you tried having your doctor write a prescription for you stating the treatment is medically necessary in addition to researching what diagnosis would qualify you for that particular treatment? Many times it all comes down to having the right diagnosis. Good luck!!!
