Hi everyone, I have been on disability for bipolar/anxiety for a few years now and got a CDR in the mail yesterday. I am a little worried because I haven't been going to my therapist this last year because I have a 4 year old who is autistic and I have no childcare. Also, the therapist I was seeing doesn't take just medicare, so I couldn't see her anymore. I just barely scrape by as it is with my measly $800 a month from SS (my husband works but doesn't make enough to cover our living expenses) and if I lose it I don't know what I'm going to do.

I have been hoping to try working again (part-time) once my son is in school, but I'm not ready yet. I read somewhere that the approval rate for CDR's is 95%? I hope that's accurate, but it means there's still a chance they will cut me off.

I was wondering if anyone here has been in a similar circumstance and what the outcome was. I am mailing back the form today after having made a new appointment with a new therapist at the same place, but is it too little too late you think?

I'm not sure if this helps, but I got reviewed, sent the form in. That was a couple years ago. Never heard from them. Still receive benefits. I strongly feel I still qualify for SSDI, but I thought they'd send a reply or something!

Good luck xo

That's weird you didn't get a letter. I had my review last spring. I had to fill out a form and so did my therapist. A few weeks later I got a letter saying I was still eligible. I don't remember if it said anything else (hopefully I will find it if it did) but I do remember a letter for sure (I was so sick that little was registering. It was pretty easy to be sure I was going to be re-approved).

I agree! Maybe it got lost in the mail.
