Is it possible to get SSDI for Panic Disorder?

Yes. This is a website I got a lot of help from when I was applying.

Disability Benefits for Panic Attacks & Panic Disorder | Disability Secrets

You will want to use any other diagnoses you have to help show why you need SSDI. The more impairment the better.

I know you're planning to take a break from therapy but if applying for SSDI with mental illness it is usually considered best to be seeing a therapist and a psychiatrist.

Thanks so much for responding and for the link. I am diagnosed with ADHD, Panic Disorder, Adjustment Disorder (Chronic stressors) with mixed anxiety and depressed mood, and Insomnia Disorder.

You're looking at it the wrong way. They don't grant you SSDI for having a disorder. They grant it to you for not being able to work. The pertinent question is: "Does your panic disorder make it impossible for you to work." If you can make a convincing argument that it does, then you can get SSDI.

First you have to have a diagnosis from a doctor. Second you have to have a history of being treated for this disorder. Third you have to demonstrate that, even with treatment, you were unable to work.
