I appreciate all the helpful advice!

However, I work part-time and do not qualify for SNAP (unbelievable), but I do get some rental assistance.
My only option is a food pantry, which, as you may know, only offers non-perishable items. I can not eat those.

I do shop the reduced produce rack and use an app called Flashfood for newly expired food.
