As a straight guy, when a female to male transition occurs, do ftm guys normally prefer women or are they more likely to be gay males? Maybe it is different depending on the person?

It all depends on the person. Sexuality is a very fickle and fluid thing. There's no real statistics for what gender trans masculine people prefer. As far as I know and have seen, it's a pretty even spread among genders. I'm no expert though.

There's no connection between the two. I'm an FtM asexual aromantic. There are both gays and straight an everything else in between. I've heard some guys orientation changes when on hormones but I think that's pretty rare. There's mostly just no correlation between the two though.

It's pretty much the same for trans guys as it is for cis (non trans) guys. Cis guys can have any sexual orientation under the sun, and trans guys can too.

Before transition I dated guys, and then for a while, identified as a lesbian. Now that I've transitioned, I haven't dated anyone (guess I'm just not ready) but I identify as bisexual. I'm attracted to both sexes, but am more attracted to women.

I was always pansexual and am still pansexual, but I'd be lying if I didn't admit my attraction to women specifically increased after starting T. I doubt it has anything to do with being trans and everything to do with sexuality being fluid.
