I have been out first as Gender-fluid, then as Trans for about 2 yrs. I go to support groups & have been seeing a therapist since last June. Binding is something that I have been doing on a regular basis for about 5 months. My therapist wrote a letter affirming my decision to transition, my PCP has been very supportive. I saw my Endocrinologist yesterday to talk about starting Testosterone (I had already given him a copy of my therapist's letter), we talked about all the pros & cons of HRT & my expectations, etc. I actually got a script for both T & the syringes to administer it!!! I did my first injection when I got home, so now the journey REALLY begins!!
Oh, my Medicare Advantage plan actually covered the script as a tier 2 drug!!!
