I had a very interesting conversation with an older woman today at work. She had a Hello Kitty shower curtain and she was so excited to get it. She told me that she's getting it for her 15 month old grandson because he's still too young to know the difference between boys and girls attire. I told her that with his generation there will be more acceptance of gender fluidity and he will have more options in how he wants to dress, and she agreed with me and told me that his mother bought him a mini mouse outfit and that they will support him with the way he'd like to dress. I told her that when I have children I will support and encourage them to wear gender neutral/gender fluid clothing. It was a really cool conversation and I'm glad to hear that there are people who are okay with the way their children would like to dress.
Thanks for this!

uwu it's nice to hear stories like this. it gives me hope that people will stop enforcing gendered options and just let kids play with/wear whatever makes them happy!
