I know I'm a good guy that can love and support the woman in my life, but where is she and how do I find her? I'm short, unattractive and have no social skills, so how can I get her to fall in love with my caring and loving personality when everyone nowadays puts so much emphasis on looks. At 40 I can only hope time hasn't run out on me.
theirs always hope my friend!

Interesting discussion.

I think the attraction of "bad boys" comes down to the fact they are self confident. Self Confidence projects a sense of superiority. Some women out there consider the challange of taming a bad boy to be exciting, but in the end it leaves many empty and most seeking a lasting relationship will find their way back to the nice guy.

I think money can be a factor as well, more accutely when the economy is down like it it is, it becomes a matter of financial security. Joseph Anthony is right that money is not everything and that plenty of rich folk out there live empty miserable lives but having means, enables you to focus on fixing other issues.

The flip side of the coin, I know a very sweet young lady who cannot find a nice guy to go out with, which she wants more than anything in the world. She seems to run into nothing but nerotic losers with tons of emotional baggage. Kind of a shame really.
Thanks for this!
