No it's fine. I usually do once or twice a week. Before I got on my meds it was 3 times a day. Still, it's not dangerous or wrong in the slightest. Have a blast, my friend.

I say go for. Masturbate whenever you feel the need for a release. It doesn't need to be everyday, or it could be multiple times in one day. Masturbation is not sex, it isn't a replacement for it...it is a release mechanism.

But too much can't be a good thing either?

Once a day I think is perfect, although sometimes I do it twice a day.

Wow, once or twice a week is all I can muster. I guess I am conserving nutrients this way.

I abstained from masturbation from July to December, but I can't say that it had a noticeable effect. From mid July to the end of August strictly nothing happened, from then on I had recurring wet dreams (frequency ranging from 4 days to one month), precisely 11 wet dreams between the 25th of August to the 16th of November. Shortly after I stopped cataloguing because I was sufficiently convinced they had no major impact on my state of mind.
What I did discover was how my diet affected the occurrence of those wet dreams, which I hypothesise are exacerbated by elevated blood sugar levels (especially before going to bed). There would need to be proper tests run to make anything of that though. My point is, though, it's not so easy to decide or not to masturbate -- your body also has a say in it (for better or worse). I think people assume that because you feel a mounting tension or sexual drive if you don't masturbate for a few days the same tension will continue to climb linearly ad infinitum. That would be absurd. Moreover, if you read online the diaries of porn addicts the vast majority of them go through a period of libido loss (a flat-line if you like) where they are unable to maintain an erection or reach orgasm easily. So no, it's not as hard as some people here seem to think...or maybe I just have naturally low libido.

There are psychologists who focus on the sex lives of their patients, and use their fetishes, fantasies and addictions as a means to search for and heal nonsexual psychological issues. Sex is often a doorway into deeper issues. Arthur Janov, author of The Primal Scream, has done a lot of work in this area. One of his premises is that sexual compulsions are a symbolic acting out of nonsexual issues or wounds from the past. His ideas are fascinating, and I believe there is much truth to them. |

Someone who feels they need to masturbate everyday is addicted. If you can't go at least one day without it then you're an addict. |

Is it OK though, to do it more than say once daily? Doesn't it affect sperm count or fertility?
