Desparately Need Legal Advice - PLEASE.

Hi Everyone.

I was recently taken advantage of (prof documented mental incapacity / ment. Disabled) involving some EXTREMELY crooked people, including attorneys, who colluded with each other, and committed many crimes against me. They stole MANY thousands of dollars; took my house, vehicles, everything. Forged my name to several documents, basically made a huge mockery of me & my mental health. I broke down, fell mentally to pieces (worse than I already was), after all of this happened.

I live in Miss. & cannot find ANY mental health or civil rights attorneys.

I would REALLY appreciate it if ANYBODY knows of one of these lawyers, or a really strong, knowledgeable advocate; just SOMEBODY who could help me (not free, I don't mean free... I just need, in the worst way, and quickly, legal assistance.) I can contact them, or they can me, thru here.

Men shouldn't KEEP getting railroaded in Chancery Courts, across the nation. Especially men who cannot at the moment take care of themselves - very vulnerable to fraud, etc. right now - and they hit me like a bag of bricks.

I agree that this seems like a criminal matter. What do the police say?

There was an incident here where the govt. took possession of someone's property while they were ill and sold it for a fraction of it's value to some crony. I wish I could remember the guy's name -- he was suing. It was horrific. The govt. gave away his dog and stole everything he owned.

Oh... my God, that's VERY scary. :\ I can't even comprehend what that would have been like for you. It's bad enough that "they" are trying to take £100 from my dad (which he's going to contest, and see local, free lawyers, but still paying it to keep them sweet) but what you are going through is incredibly scary.

The first place to go is the police. Take absolutely everything with you... I mean paperwork. The more you can prove that it was shady in some way, the more seriously they should take you. Any names you can come up with, as well.

If need be, contact a newspaper and tell them your story, perhaps asking the public if they know the people involved... you could think more on that, but I think there's something you could do that in that area.

That's so depressing. :\ This is why I loathe governments and don't care to talk about politics. Always someone out to get something from you. :|

I suggest contacting your local bar association and filing a police report. The bar association may be able to refer you - or may have - a pro bono section that can represent you due to your mental illness. The bar association can also investigate complaints against local attorneys for ethics violations and you may be able to file a complaint with them. If that fails then contact your local chapter of the American Civil Liberties Association. (I think that's the name.) All the best to you.

Yep...the newspapers. I totally agree. If the story rings true...and it sees the light of day...police and legal council will pick it up from there...

The problem with this is typically that "the plaintiff is crazy". That's what game they will play...and the police will think their time is wasted...as will lawyers......
