How do YOU deal with people, mainly women, who behave as if men have NO emotions? And treat you like dirt?
Those who misinterpret self control, or lack of emotional outbursts, as no hurt feelings... |

I guess you could try to express those emotions to them. I don't mean outbursts of anger or crying but just stating.......when this happened my feelings were really hurt. I feel angry when....

Today's experience (not good): I told her that when she talks about a test I have coming up, it creates anxiety and nervousness. Now, she keeps bringing it up like it's an f-ing joke. I was so angry and anxious that I left the room and I'm still fuming hours later. This has been building up and has a history. I don't know what to do. She really doesn't think I have emotions, EVEN when I'm about ready to lose it! She has no clue. And this isn't the first female to behave like that toward me. To her (and multiple other females) my words are jokes, my expressions are invisible.... Now what? |

Women are all about emotions and look to men to be in better control of their emotions. It's tough, but you want to learn to be unreactive. After awhile, the things they say legitimately won't mean anything to you.

Sometimes I find woman to be even more cold and calloused than men. I don't how many times I've had friends or acquaintances (including me) that were deeply hurt by their wife or girlfriend cheating on them and the woman doesn't seem to care whatsoever.

Dunno, really. I don't think I've come across someone who has publicly judged me in such a way, but that might be because, while I do have self-control, I still show emotion, slightly... very slightly. xD Depends whom I'm with. With a woman (partner) I start letting some of that manly crap go and just be more natural, tears 'n' all, as much as I HATE it, it's human biology. When I'm with other people, though, I lock stuff up as best I can; it's just how I was raised, and I'm just fine with that.

I really couldn't help, as I show zero whatsoever, given my ASD. People think I am made of stone, but sometimes, it seems some women like that and gravitate towards me, IDK what to think . But, it really does hurt because sometimes people see you are unreactive and they go much further with you than they would ever dream of going with someone else. Some people have really hurt me in the past, but it is because I don't show it, so they think they have gotten away with it. Sometimes people hurt me and lie to me because they think it's OK, I am just made of stone and have no feelings so it's not hurting me, when in fact it hurts very much. But, I guess I have myself to blame mostly, because 90% of the time I don't even understand my own feelings .

I kick them out of the equation. Confidence comes along with acknowledging your emotions and dealing with them constructively. If all you can do is pack them away, they fester and become problems and anyone that will hold your emotions against you is a festering problem in my opinion.
