why has this mens forum turned into a ghost town forum lately. i imagin some dried out plants blowing through here, and spooking music playing in the back ground.

am i the only man left in a site full of women ? not a bad thing i hear in the back of my mind, but im lonely without any male banter.
come on men show yourselves ........................ please

I'm still not sure of this section...what's the point of a men's only section if women can post and influence the replies?

Hey - I know what you mean about this place being a ghost town. I have come here many times but then didn't see anything new and just did not post. Hmmm I should of just posted myself and seen what happened. I'll be back to see if you have returned!

Yes, I agree. I come by and look to see who is posting and then leave if no one has posted. I guess I should post instead of just passing by and see what happens.

It is dismaying to come here and feel like you are all alone.

Maybe a Men's Forum is just too vague and undefined a concept.

For instance, I wonder how a man copes with depression as compared to a woman. Is that a thread for this forum or for the depression forum?

But maybe no one cares anyway.

It'd be easier if there were some sort of project to gather around and then b.s. I know this is cliche', but it seems to work that way for me.

A lot of the time this forum seems unable to get beyond penises and porn...

It's perfectly OK to talk about those things (obviously!), but the male experience of mental issues must have other unique aspects we could be talking about.

Maybe the quiet here reflects the way men bottle up and don't talk about things.
Thanks for this!

I agree completely. I'm completely bottled up when I'm with others. But I'm pretty sure nobody in the real world is interested in hearing my problems anyway (unless I pay them to).

Thanks.

We all need to care a little more about each other here, that's for sure. People will fall through the cracks if we don't.
