I have a quick question, my friend has OCD, Panic/Anxiety, and depression, problem is he has just gotten a haemorrhoid and is terrified, is this common and what can be done?, I have no advice to give on this (haemorrhoids) has I have never had them, so I am no help at all to him right now

If he hasn't seen a doctor regarding it - that might be some advice...

With anxiety it might calm his fears learning about what they are and how to get some relief.

They are very common and really there is nothing to worry about. If it is external, it is likely to cause pain or discomfort. That can be treated with otc cremes. If self-treatment isn't effective then he can go see the doc to figure out what else might help.

If it is an internal hem. it probably won't hurt at all. He might notice a bit of bright red blood on the toilet paper if it flares up. It's a very small amount of bleeding that stops quickly. It wont stain his underwear or anything like that.
