for this to really work, you would have to register (obviously as a man) and get granted access to this section only to those registered as MEN.
otherwise, why would i share my thougths or insecurities to the general (female) public? men are simply not like that. |

ya know gtr? this one really makes a lot of sense to me... i've always projected my emotions outward... seeking some connection with others, some real, real contact, cause inside i was dying every day... the number of people who i occasionally was able to make that contact with was not many.. but in hindsight, i think it wa usually a woman, not a man who i made the feeblest of connections with... why would i keep putting myself out there when sometimes it seems the only i get back is a slap and told to stand up, be a man... or worse... silence...why do i keep trying?

I truly think we are a misunderstood race ( men ) we grew up in an era where machoizm is necessarry. So if we are sda and cry we are wimps .. If we speak our minds then we are a-holes
As far as this site and the Hierachy I think we need more representation for the men ... here is the issue at hand that i see most of the men here have a 8-5 job we work , we tend to the family and then we come on to relax and get the days poop off our minds well this is my 2 pence take or leave it its me Tymber |

yeah Timber, i think you describe the majority, and, as majority, thats where focus should begin... darn right guys are tired... nnot that women dont get tired too..
its symptomatic of these times.. its only been about 50 years that America became a two income family... not to say there were some evil plots or anything, but, i do think that money makers saw opportunity in that... and began to mass asvertise and offer easy financing and basically quickly filled up that new income level with more debt and stress... now a majority are stuck... barely making ends meet and still, the money people want us to get in deeper... who profits from all this? the advertisers, the lawyers, the ones who keep putting more out there to lure us in deeper... its a bad cycle from our side... and, being less organized than the data processing mega machine of profit, it just keeps piling up.... until ... we can get it across to "them" that its enough already... if its time that steals the happy, we just have to put our feet down and say it... ENOUGH! and steal back our time so we can give and care for our loved ones again... the loss of family is possibly the biggest contributor to the unhappiness and exhaustion that surrounds us.. just 5 hours a week can change our childrens lives... for some, and i am one, this time shortage is something ive had to make a change about, comfortable or not.. but, then, as a single, this is easy for me to say.. but, i still care for my mom, who else would? so, just because im not married doesnt mean i have no family.. and more, the lifestyle we have in USA has also robbed us of enough time to care for our own parents, siblings... the advertisers distract us with more toys.. which are fine, really, but, not the most important thing in life imo... i really feel that its time we get back to what matters... people... thanks for your two Timber... hang in there man... |

Im in agreement Nowhere I feel the lack of time I gave to my family has changed my marriage .... Im still on the outside trying to get back in
The last year has been about change for me .. Changing behaviors for the best ... I want it to be like it was before my wife and i got invested into our jobs and current lives ... See thats when it was blissfull cos at that time we didnt have to be the "JONES " all we needed to focus on is us and our daughter So yes a change is in order but we can only change us and pray to God that people with take notice of us Great leaders are willing to take chances in life ... the rest just follow in stride hoping that one day they can achieve as the leader did Dave |

I feel like others, this forum should be taken care of by men. No female mod should be the one to work here. I guess that is like having only a male to take care of their forum. Vance |
