Sometimes the hardest part of human nature is letting go. Letting go of a grudge, or a friend, or other things are the things that seem so colossal right now. You have to understand what you'll stand to lose, but you also have to consider everything you'll gain. It may be hard now, but in the long run it can be healthier that way. It just takes time to heal. That's the part that's hardest. When you're lost in confusion and feel like you're losing it, think about a better future. That's what helps you let go of all the negativity that's in your life now more than anything else. Today, I'm choosing to let go of an eight year grudge, and a friend who is stopping me from being the best I can be. I'm taking a step in the healing direction. What's been the hardest thing you've let go of?

Hello, ncisfan1212. Well done. Forgiveness is part of my way of letting go.

Letting it go is really easy for me. Once I've moved on, I'm done. No looking back.
