My OCD issues……………………………………………
Computer(current)
Fear of not staying in control of anxiety and stress.
When I find a site like PC I can’t log out of it my computer has to stay on and if for some reason it turn off I cant stop getting thoughts about turing it back on and then I have to log back in to my sites.
Obsession---Computer/site = compulsion ---- logging back in and checking.

Budget(Mostly in the past)
Fear of going bankrupt =fear of not being in control or stress
Use always have my budget open and was always adjusting it to be better. If I had to walk away from the budget or not have access to it like out I found it so distressing and would not spend much money on stuff even if I knew it was a normal item to buy that week.
Obsession---budget/money = Compulsion----checking/refusing to spend money on know commen items

Talking/silence(current but heaps better)
Fear of hurting people.(the worst fear, one of the main fear)
I see images of hurting people physicly, or get thoughts of upsetting people which make me get anxious and talk more and the more I talk the more I anoy people then the more at risk I am for someone saying STOP then I freak out and debate/argue, then thay get angry then I panic, then I react with leaving the place/chat room out of fear and cry and get upset ect,
Obsession---any of my OCD issues, trigger words = Compustion----Talking, verbally/typing obsessing, silence in a group face to face setting mostly and/or running away from situation, resulting in a panic from mild to extream, extream panic can set off SI to try regain control of my emotions.

Smoking/bus stops(current but getting better)
Fear Of hurting people/getting sick.
I hear the words about smoking or see some someone smoking or smell it and my head starts obsessing about, I feel the need to tap and/or rock in some way, my head wants to scream at them to smoke away from me when I cant seem to place to be where no smokers are. Like bus stops and out side shopping centers. Use to be real extream reaction of running away and refusing to get in the bus lol.
Obsession ---- Smoking = Compulstion----Rocking, tapping,

obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors become so excessive that they interfere with daily life. And no matter what you do, you can’t seem to shake them.

Understanding obsessions and compulsions

Obsessions are involuntary, seemingly uncontrollable thoughts, images, or impulses that occur over and over again in your mind. You don’t want to have these ideas – in fact, you know that they don’t make any sense. But you can’t stop them. Unfortunately, these obsessive thoughts are usually disturbing and distracting.
Compulsions are behaviors or rituals that you feel driven to act out again and again. Usually, compulsions are performed in an attempt to make obsessions go away. For example, if you’re afraid of contamination, you might develop elaborate cleaning rituals. However, the relief never lasts. In fact, the obsessive thoughts usually come back stronger. And the compulsive behaviors often end up causing anxiety themselves as they become more demanding and time-consuming.

Four Steps for Conquering Obsessive Thoughts and Compulsive Urges

Psychiatrist Jeffrey Schwartz, author of Brain Lock: Free Yourself from Obsessive-Compulsive Behavior, offers the following four steps for dealing with OCD:
  1. RELABEL – Recognize that the intrusive obsessive thoughts and urges are the RESulT OF OCD.
  2. REATTRIBUTE – Realize that the intensity and intrusiveness of the thought or urge is CAUSED BY OCD; it is probably related to a biochemical imbalance in the brain.
  3. REFOCUS – Work around the OCD thoughts by focusing your attention on something else, at least for a few minutes: DO ANOTHER BEHAVIOR.
  4. REVALUE – Do not take the OCD thought at face value. It Is not significant in itself.
