So my OCD has been getting worse and worse. I couple years back I was horrible. I would have to wash my hands 8 times in a row when I needed to wash them. My hands were so bad. After that things got much better. Since I got my new job about a year ago it has gotten worse. I have to check all the plugs in the apartment 2 times before I leave. I have to have everyting in a certain place at my desk at work other wise I freak out. At night time I have to have certain things by me or I can fall alseep. Also I pick my head until it bleeds and the pick the scab. They can't fully heal. I set my lap top up on my table but my ciggys, ashtray, water, pop, tissue, and phone have to be in a certain spot. It just takes me so long to do things. It is very frustrating. Even on the internet I do thinks. I have to check my email first, then facebook, then here. I do it at work to. Also when I go to bed I have to check all the alrams 3 times and make my fiance check them also. I have to stop playing games on facebook because if I didn't go on one day I would check thinking about it and thinking about it. When I type email or threads they have to been done a certain way. My mind never stops running and it is always going. My OCD takes hours out of my day and it is horrible. Sorry for the long post. It is just getting hard and annoying!

Prozac?
It's helped me a lot over the past 2 months. My desk is getting quite messy, and the urge to clean it is overwhelming sometimes, but I just haven't had ANY time! I still have the problem with multiple thoughts racing all at once, but I've been working on centering myself, and only focus on what I am doing. |
