I tend to stew about people who upset me. I stew about it for hours.
Anyone here have the same issue?
I have been diagnosed with OCD but for the most part I am better, thanks to the SSRI's I am currently taking but this is one thing that I have not gotten better at all is how I allow others to upset me so much.
The reason why is cause of extremely low trust in others cause I have been hurt so badly online and offline.

I am like you that I stew over people who upset me. I am working on it but things people say that hurt me come to my mind when I least expect it. I am then disturbed about it all over again. I have a hard time trusting them after they hurt my feelings. Reminds me of the saying, "Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me." Just letting you know you aren't alone.

I feel the same way too, I have been hurt so many times. Even though I am slowly beginning to trust people again, It is hard to forget the past and i am always careful.

Trusting people is way hard, as is letting people get close to me (emotionally). I definitely stress what others think and little things that people say - sometimes it keeps me up at night. I really hate feeling so vulnerable to what other people say and do... I guess some people are more susceptible to get hurt than others (or perhaps others are just better at hiding their hurt)
