Okay, I'm not sure if this belongs here. But I have an obsession with gaining weight. So much that I'm always afraid to eat. I exercise and everything, but I'm still fat in my mind. Is this an Obsession from OCD? My therapist said that OCD can sometimes turn into an eating disorder.

Another obsession is with owning things. Once I get something I want in my mind, I HAVE to own it otherwise I will be very depressed. I have gone as far as trying to find a tailor to make a specific plushie for me because I could not find one to buy. Is this my OCD?

It sounds as though it could be some form of OCD, although your first post does sound like an eating disorder of some form, potentially anorexia, but your therapist has said that OCD can stem in different disorders, so this could be the case here. Maybe you should do some research into OCD and related disorders? Hope that this helps, Keightii
