I suck my thumb & I can't stop. This is weird, but I like to lightly pass my fingers over folded fabric, like my shirt or pillowcase & also pinching folded fabric or brushing it across my upper lip. I know, its weird but I do it while I suck my thumb. I like the texture & the feeling. I'm doing it now lol. It just gives me so much comfort.

Also I feel like I got OCD with my hair. I have to was my hair at least twice a week or more. I'm always combing, brushing or flat ironing it thinking something is always wrong. I tend to put too much products in my hair at times. Idk I just always feel like I have to fix it even when it's perfectly fine. Not sure what to think of these things.

I think it could be OCD related, although everyone has their own "quirks" or "bad habits"...so it's hard to say. Have you been properly diagnosed with it? If these compulsions are bothering you, it would be beneficial to discuss them with a professional.

Fragile, the key here is feeling like you "have to" or are "forced to"...those are major markers in having OCD. I understand completely about finding therapists; I, myself, am about 3 years overdue for some good individual counseling! Suggestion: if you can't afford an individual psychologist or psychiatrist, have you looked into a local support group for anxiety disorders? They usually charge little or nothing to drop in once a week. Best of luck to you!

@Valerina thank you. I don't feel forced to do it, but I do feel like I have to do it. I do other things as well like rocking back n forth. When I was younger I would lay on my stomach & bump my head against my hands. It wasn't in a way to hurt myself, but something else that I found comforting...I grew out of that though.
