Hi.

I've been struggling with pulling out my hair for a while now. I don't have any bald spots or anything but I do pull out my hair quite a lot.

I've also gotten into the habit of breaking my hair. Like, not pulling it completely out just breaking bits of it off at the ends. Is this the same idea?

Thanks for reading.

Hi, I have been dealing with hair-pulling for years..it seems to come and go..esp under stress...what a surprise...I have tried alot of things, one is having some sort of object that resembles the act of pulling, you know about those rubber squishy things that if you squeeze they expand but they have those rubber like strings i guess, you can pull on them and they snap back...well you could try that...and atleast if you pull to hard and snap one off, it's only a rubber squishy thing and not your own hair..orpllease keep on trying stuff , something will help..are u in therapy for this? or do you have any friends that you could explain this to, and have them "watch u' and if they see u do it, have them say a nonjudgemental private word to have u stop right there and then...
