Breathe! Try yoga. Talk to a therapist... Distract yourself... Best of luck to you!

Actually Pure O you should not try and distract yourself you should let your anxiet spike without doing your mental compulsions. I suggest reading freedom from ocd living with doubt by jonathan grayson. It has a whole section on dealing with bad thoughts! esecially violence and gives you a recovery plan! it has helped me the most so far!

Ya that is what you should do. But it helps not to be agonizing over the obsession. Recognize it, then take a deep breath and go distract yourself and do something else.
