Is it normal to not be scared and normal when you have OCD thoughts, when you still have the urges? I mean I feel nothing, but when I see an object that can kill me I usually feel very tempted to hurt myself, but i tell myself no. Is this normal? I mean I asked my T about it, and she said, its because you want to be happy the brain makes you happy, then I asked why am I not scared? Then she says because your brain is tired of being scared of that thing, it gets old. But then why do I still have the temptations and the thoughts?

Have you hurt yourself in the past?

Right now I barely found out I'm going through backdoor spike, but no i have never hurt myself in the past. Does a backdoor spike mean recovery or worsening?
