My OCD focuses mostly on food. From how it's prepared to texture and if it touches or gets mixed together. If anything I don't like gets on me I have to wash it off then put hand sanitizer on the area it touched. Also watching other people eat is disgusting or if their food is touch or mixing it makes me sick. Hand washing dishes makes me sick because of the food particles in the water. I always wash and sanitize my hands and arms after doing dishes. I just wanted to share that and also know if anyone else has these issues.

God, I am with you here. It's exhausting and frustrating and it really causes an OCD flare up terribly. My food compulsions began with expiration dates. I remember now, at 22, asking my mom if milk she just purchased was good as a child. And it stuck with me since then.
As for textures, do you think that is a sensory problem or OCD based? I've learned wearing rubber gloves helps. Where you sit at the table. How you eat, and, this sounds a bit ridiculous, but buying those kids plates with the separations. It keeps everything away from each other.

Mine is with rice. I have to finish every single grain of rice on my plate, even those stuck to other food. Takes me ages to scrape off every grain of rice.
