Its practically taken over my life, mind and so forth.. and i take medication. I just cant stop the compulsions- they're almost automatic and out of control- crazy. Feel like my mind has been taken over. Can't reach my doctor recently- hes been away. But i dont even believe a doctor can fix me at this point

Greetings.

I know how that feels, the only exception being that with me it's the obsessive side that consumes my entire being.

Perhaps it's time for a med change? Maybe a dose increase? Believe me, I don't have much doubt that I'm one of the worst OCD cases on the planet. I get suicidal, it's that bad. But 30mg Lexapro does me just fine. OCD isn't all gone, but it's manageable.

There's also CBT. Keep searching for the remedy that works for you, Don't give up

through hypnotherapy , brain training, i got my ocd down to 2% of what it was , also a job i had to do when i was young , numbers , equations , problem solving helped enormously .
ocd for me was a living hell , but i beat it in the end , and it feels good to take control of your mind .
so i know how you feel.
take care
