So there are things that I'm very weird with. Like if I want to have a perfect week, I must do something Sunday or Saturday or Monday that will make it a good week. Like it makes no sense. Like on Sunday, if I eat pudding at night while watching tv, that will make my week better, or if I do a Saturday and Sunday "detox or cleanse" that means that my week will be good. Or like before a diet, I always drink tons of liquid and make sure I cleanse myself before that diet, and if I don't do that then I don't even try much to make my diet a good diet, cause it automatically started bad with me not doing my cleanse.

Different stuff like that. Same thing with signs, like me getting the firstquestion wrong on a test means my test won't be good.

Sounds more superstitious to me. Rituals are doing the same thing, not as a sign necessarily, but because you have to/feel you cannot help yourself, the anxiety if you do not do them will overwhelm you. They aren't about influencing the future but about staying safe right now.

I used to think that, if I didn't a particular thing that I felt obliged to do, something bad would have happened...I'm improving, but sometimes I still feel this and I have to make an effort to rexist. Is it the same for you?

I don't know if it's considered that something bad will happen.

But like if I don't do different things then I believe that my week will start off bad. Like if I don't do or feel certain things on a Sunday or Monday, then to me I feel like that's a sign my week will be bad. Like I'm into cleanses and detox, and some Sundays I'll do one, and if I don't do it successfully then I believe my week will be bad. Or like on Fridays if I don't do certain things, then my night would be ruined and I don't even try to make it better

Like I have to do it or else I get really mad.

This sounds so small, but if I feel obligated to have pudding one night and I don't, I get extremely mad and my whole night is ruined and I kinda freak out.

Well, I can't be sure, but if you feel that you HAVE to do your rituals I think that it's possible that it is OCD...but maybe it could also be caused by other disorders that you have. Have you a therapist for something else?
