Does anyone here at times like feel they believe in their thoughts? Earlier today I had an intrusive thought that I wasn't really awake that I was dreaming and since I was "dreaming" nothing is real. I was totally panicking because it felt like I believed it. Luckily, I calmed down and reassured myself it wasn't true though I kept thinking what if?
Thanks for this!

Yeah I freak myself out sometimes with the thought that everything around me might be an illusion. I've been listening to a lot of philosophy podcasts lately, maybe I need to lay off that for awhile

Anxiety can do all sorts of crazy **** to people. I once had a panic attack where I was telling people that I couldn't breathe at all, completely oblivious to the reality that if that were true, then I couldn't have been talking to people in the first place.

Perhaps I get something where I believe my intrusive thoughts also but I snap out of it because I listen to my heart/morality. Those things guide me best as well as common sense.
