Anyone else have it where you touch some (like a pillow or pants) and the texture just feels wrong and you have to touch a pleasant texture to get rid of the feeling otherwise it's distressing?
Corduroy and velvet are the absolute worst. Keep that away from me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

What came to mind was my nephews aversion to clothing tags. Where his mom has had to cut off all tags. Seems more companies make tagless clothing. It's sensory.
Here's an article from the archives, that I felt was relevant to your own experience. http://blogs.psychcentral.com/mental...sing-disorder/ |

Oh wow, that is so interesting. I had no idea that was really a thing. I always kind of thought it was a kind of OCD thing. Like idk another thing I do is put silverware away in a certain order or eat food in a certain order one section at a time otherwise it just feels wrong. Those are more OCD kind of things and I just figured the feeling thing went along with it... Thanks a lot for that! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
