As I mentioned in my recent posts I was hit with OCD and I joined this great site for some help/advice and seeing how it's so busy i'm wondering if i'm going to get such advice or help only because this site seems it has a lot of members ,anyway I hope i'm making sense , if i'm not I guess i'm in the right place right ...lol...how do you guys deal with the OCD I know I have a hard time with it daily , checking and rechecking can be exhausting at times practice I guess

do you know what the root cause of your ocd is, when you uncover this, if you haven't already done so, it might help you to understand why you have ocd, but understanding may or may not reduce it, but it might help

Practice is so important. But it's hard if you don't know what to practice! And I find telling myself not to engage in the compulsion only makes me more anxious and more likely to do the actions.
