I repetively wash my hands for many times. And now, I'm uncontrollably talking non related things, sometimes yelling when I feel bad or ashameThat even happen when I'm talking to others. And then I feel very guilty about all of that. Hello harry32: I'm sorry you are struggling with this. Probably the best thing to do here is to see a psychiatrist, or other mental health professional. They can help you figure out what is going on & suggest treatments for it. From what you wrote, it sounds as though this situation is causing you quite a bit of anxiety. And anxiety tends to feed on itself. You feel anxiety... & then you start to feel anxious about the fact that you're anxious. It can spiral out of control. And stress can cause things such as the talking & yelling you mentioned. Please take care...

I agree you should find a mental health professional that will help you with these needs before it gets really bad. I know OCD seems impossible to get rid of, but you'll find a way to do so. Good luck Compulsive action developing.

Also, maybe start with learning more about OCD, print out a checklist to give to the professional?
