Hi I need urgent help. I suffer from 'intrusive thoughts'
Possible trigger:
Getting diagnosed was a huge relief, realizing I wasn't a monster and it was a form of OCD. The problem is somebody I had a fall out with, who I suspect has a personality disorder. He has managed to get hold of this information, by I suspect recording a conversation I had with a friend. He has spread in my home town (UK) that I am a pedophile and have actually the family member. I have been harassed and stalked for the past 5 years He has roped people in to continue the harassment people laugh at me in the street, take pictures, film me. I believe their have been coming in to my house to poison afew times my e-cigarette has bee tampered with I have had nasty headaches, ulcers in my mouth and I have found this happens when I have left it in the house. Stuff brought from the shop is perfectly fine, but when this has happened on numerous occasions. I believe he's trying to kill me. Nobody in the neighborhood speaks to me and I get nasty looks. I also here the neighbours talking about wanting to hurt me want to get in the house and hurt or even kill me. I've been to the police but there's no evidence. I don't know if it was a good thing, but I've put a letter through a neighbors letter box, trying to explain the situation and my side of the story. HELP

Hello oboid321: This appears to be your first post here on PC... so... welcome to PsychCentral... from the Skeezyks! May you find the time you spend here to be of benefit.

I'm sorry you are experiencing such difficulty. I'm not sure what to suggest here other than possibly finding a therapist who can help you to sort this all out. (I presume simply moving away is not an option.) I do know, from personal experience, that long term bullying & abuse can have a devastating impact on a person. So it really will be important for you to figure out some way of dealing with this. But I think, in order to do so, you're going to need to have the opportunity to talk your situation through with someone, over a period time, who will be both supportive & objective. Beyond that, keep posting here on PC. Writing about how you feel can help too. I wish you well...
