This is embarrass to talk about but I've had this obsessive jealousy for ages. My bf and I have been together 4 years and he treats me like a queen but more than once during that time there's been women ..at random we came into contact with who I became insanely jealous of and accused my BF of liking even though there was no evidence for that.
The one most recently plays music in a band with a band my boyfriends in and I got this insane obsession that because she's a musician he will find her more desirable than me I've literally gone crazy over this and it's effected my whole life He reassures me all the time and is worried about my obsessions We are getting married soon Help!! I know it's irrational but I can't stop freaking out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If you've been together four years, he wants you, not her. Especially if y'all are getting married. I used to have the same irrational fears due to being hurt in the past, but you can't make him pay for it. Don't push him away with jealousy. He loves you.

I'm ocd, but I'm also bipolar. After my doctor put me on an antipsychotic a lot of my ocd symptoms stopped. Don't know if you'd want to go that route

Irrational obsessions like this are sometimes chemical imbalances. I would recommend seeing a good psychiatrist to see if you can get prescription treatment. Also, it sounds like you need a good therapist to talk to about this jealousy. When you're obsessing about the same thing over and over, I think it would help to talk about it and learn coping skills to deal with it in a healthy manner.
I have found a natural supplement that helps me a lot that you could try (my psychiatrist recommended it for obsessive thoughts): https://www.amazon.com/Source-Natura...1&keywords=NAC The types of medications a psychiatrist would probably try you on is an SSRI (antidepressant) and an anti-anxiety medication (a benzo like Xanax, Klonopin, Valium, Ativan, etc.). Those medications could help your anxiety and potentially make your obsessions go away. It would be worth looking into. SSRI's are not generally a cure-all because there will often be a time where they stop working, but often psychiatrists will just switch you to another medication. Antipsychotics, particularly those that help depression, may also be a good option. I take Latuda and Abilify to help my anxiety and obsessive thoughts (along with my bipolar moods). There is help out there, and I suggest you seek it out! Best wishes! ![]()
