I don't know how to stop it, but I don't think, if there's a God, He would be a cruel God to send you to Hell for something you can't control. You believe in God, and OCD takes advantage of that. It's hard, I know, but try to remember it's your OCD trying to trick you. Let the thoughts come and do your best to ignore them. It's all I know to tell you.

This really sounds like an mental health issue to me... not a religious one. So, from that perspective, my thinking would be this is something that needs to be worked on with the help of your psychiatrist & therapist if you have these mental health professionals in your life. Imagining there is something you could do by yourself to stop these thoughts may well just be making you feel worse because it causes you to beat yourself up for not being able to figure out how to do it. I'm sorry you are struggling with these difficult thoughts.
Thanks for this!

Actually, Skeezyks gave a much better answer than I did. I do agree.

I agree with Maven and Skeezyks, you're not going to hell but it is a psychiatric issue. I have religious OCD too.

I've had this exact thing happening to me for about two years now and I don't think there is any way to stop it. But I just put it down as fear, is that not right?
Thanks for this!
