So I went to my psychiatrist and explained what I was experiencing. He said it sounded like OCD. That the voices I was hearing, were actually intrusive thoughts.
So I finally know the difference between voices and intrusive thoughts. Voices you hear them by your ear. Intrusive thoughts you hear them in your head. That is what the psychiatrist explained to me. He said he would keep an eye on it and make a note of it. He raised one of my medications to 300 mg. I wonder if he will diagnose me with OCD or not. Probably only if it persists for a long period of time.

Hi,
I hear voices as thoughts in my head and they definitely aren't intrusive thoughts. I have arguments with them, they act like people and I visualize them inside my head. I am not saying your psychiatrist is "wrong" whatsoever, just know that it's not either black or white. Some people hear voices in their ears and some (like me) hear them as inner voices. Best wishes. x

I'm thinking it depends on what the voices are saying, but I am no expert. I'd think something like "Go shut, Go shut the door,...." would be OCD. The voices would not be audible. Is that what your psychiatrist meant?

Even though I would never say that. It keeps repeating too, sometimes.
