Hi (I don’t know if this is the right place to ask this, if it’s not could you direct me to the right one?) I’ve always thought that I may have some minor form of OCD but recently I’ve started to notice it more and more and I’d just like some opinions on if I have it or not. One of the things I do that makes me think I may have OCD is knock on wood constantly. For example if I start thinking about someone I love dying (morbid I know) and then I think “That will never happen” I HAVE to repeat the thought “That will never happen” and then knock on wood. If I don’t do this or do it incorrectly I get very uncomfortable or anxious. I’ve started to do this constantly lately and it’s very annoying. I also like my things arranged very specifically. Someone rearranged some things in my room the other day and I almost had a meltdown because of it. Some other things I do: diagnose myself with and check for illnesses, and redo something if I do it “wrong” the first time (like if my hand touches something in the “wrong” place). So do you think I may have a form of OCD?

Yes. What you've described is exactly what you posted...moderate OCD.
