Is This Good Advice or Not?

That's good, but again I urge you to get.a job, even if it's only temporary. You need to bring money in and then save it. That's how you'll most quickly change your circumstances.

ETA: and you will be able to write, also. But it's not easy to get published.

I know getting published is hard. I'm familiar with the writing world. I figure it can't hurt to try.

Getting a job that won't cause me to lose my Social Security money sounds good, but I have no skills except typing, and I only remember how to get the words on the paper/screen, not how to format it and envelopes, memos and stuff. I sleep up to 14 hours a day (my psychiatrist is lowering one of my meds to see if that's the cause), can't shower right now, can't stand for long, and it would depend on how my OCD could handle it.

We have no air conditioning, and staying in this house is miserable. I hope my boyfriend surprises me and gets the house clean enough to get a repair person in.
