I was very anxious as a result of severe OCD and one day the intrusive thoughts were especially bad, so I tried to combat them with logic(foolish of me, I know).

All of a sudden, I heard a very loud and distinct voice in my head that was definitely not my own and it said, “You’re going to die.”

I have experienced both auditory and visual hallucinatons before when I'm extremely anxious and I know for sure that I am not Schizophrenic, but I feel like I'm losing my mind.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes, I have experienced such a thing. I also know of others with OCD and severe anxiety who hear a voice in their head. Such a thing is very upsetting, but the best way to deal with it is by not giving it attention. The link in my sig can help.

Yes. I was diagnosed with schizophrenia as a result. I disagree with the diagnosis.
