I have read numerous advice comments from therapists saying it is not a good idea to try it on your own without assistance from a professional. And I have also written a short story based on one of my fears only to be overtaken with anxiety, so I backed out of the idea before I could even make a loop tape. But has anyone else tried it before? And so has it worked out?

Hi Dannii. I don't know what ERP is...maybe in my language it's called differently. But in general I think any therapy is better with the help of a professional...I know for experience that it's difficult to handle OCD symptoms alone.
