Hi,
Wondering if anyone has any info or insights etc regarding Dermatophagia?
Unfortunately I’ve had what seems to be full blown Wolf Biting since early childhood. It’s not just cuticles or insides of mouth; it’s me biting every finger and backs of thumbs .. the span between thumb & forefinger. It is and pretty much always has been out of hand 🤦🏼*♀️ ‘Scuse the pun 😉
I’ve always done this ..

I guess I’m looking for any other complete nutter who literally bites thei skin off their own hands .. for queries .. I’m trying to work out if it’s a C-ptsd thing, is it related to childhood trauma etc .. any info at all really would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance & sorry if this seems weird.
Hugs from:

I don't have any personal experience with this condition in particular. It is a topic that has come up previously here on PC though. You may be interested in reading what others had to say on the subject. Here are links to 2 of those previous posts:

Good luck!
