I think this is one of the worse manifestations of anxiety. Who else has had this?

I'd had GAD when I was younger. I have kind of outgrown it through learning coping techniques. CBT was especially helpful to me.
Please don't hesitate to ask more about GAD in the anxiety forum, too. I hope you find helpful answers! ![]() ![]() WC

Honestly, most of the anxiety I get these days is like generalized anxiety with OCD thinking mixed in. There used to be a time where I was only anxious when there was a reason to be, but nowadays, I'm mostly nervous for no reason.

I'm posting in this thread right now because my current problem is more than OCD. Sure, I have this thought about having another spell of being unable to relax myself for days, but that would be easy to let float if that were the only thing making me nervous. Even if I did not have that thought, I would still have generalized anxiety which does make me unable to relax for days, so there is truth in the thought.

I will admit that I have three kinds of anxiety:
1. Generalized anxiety 2. OCD where I'm ruminating about a thought 3. Displaced anxiety where I'm not exactly ruminating about a thought consciously but I feel like said thought is holding me back |
