I was wondering if I'm the only one with this obsession.

I am obsessed with the wax in my ears. If I even think I have it I have to go clean out my ears. I have this ear cleaner that I squeeze into my ear and then let it drain out and then it gets rid of the wax and if I don't think it has got it all I take the q-tip to it. I know I'm not supposed to use q-tips in my ears but it gives me pleasure to see all the wax come out of my ears. I have always had a lot of wax buildup in my ears since I was a child and when I was little I had tubes in my ears to get it to drain out and before that I had such buildup it was making me not be able to hear well. I guess that is what is fueling the obsession is my memory of that or at least being told that happening. I don't remember that I was too young but I have pictures of me in the hospital.

So I was wondering if I'm the only one.

((((((((((((( jan )))))))))))))

Yes I do have this obsession too, I don't have one of those ear cleaner things so I just use qtips, I had tubes in my ears when I was young and I remember them so I am very picky about my ears. I think that I should get me one of those ear cleaner things.

OMG--I am too!! I use q-tips and----this is really really bad, but I use a very very very small metal crochet hook. I used to work for ENT's and they have a tool very similar to this and one day my ears itched so bad I started using it. I wonder why this is that we are obssessed with this?
