When I ever I hear the whispers and the stares at the obvious drawn on eyebrows I have it make me want to cry. I have trich and I have no eyelashes or eyebrows and I feel I can't go anywhere without my makeup. and when people ask I don't know what to say.

I am sorry that people are so unkind, it's none of their business why you are the way you are, please don't feel like you need to explain yourself. I am sending you lots of hugs. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I would say, "Why do you ask? Don't you think it a bit inappropriate to ask, really!?"

It sucks to feel like that. If you can be open about your trichotillomania, then I'd simply say, "I have a condition called trichotillomania." But at the same time, as gimmeice said, it's none of their business, and I like Junerain's advice to tell them they're rude. But my point is, if it's something you can speak up about, you might be able to educate them...some people are open to it.
